****Sound/Frequency Healing****

For thousands of years shamanic cultures have used sound as part of healing and entering altered states of consciousness to “journey to other worlds” to “other plans of existence” in order to access different ways of healing.  See ***Other Worlds and Journeying*** to learn more.

Scientists have been studying the effects of sound frequency on the brain and studies show that even inaudible high frequency sound have an effect on the human brain. 

I’m sure you are aware of the power of sound whether that be a particular song that can evoke a feeling of love, sadness or hate or the sound of someone’s fingernails on a chalk board. Sound can have a transformative effect on a person’s day and life, for the better or worse.

Certain frequencies called solfeggio frequency (there are 9 primary) are used to evoke and alter brainwaves to promote healing of the body and mind and spirit. Sound frequency is measured in hertz or cycles per second, so one hertz is equal to one cycle per second.  Solfeggio frequencies have been used to heal all sorts of imbalances, disorders, and dis-eases.

Depending on the frequency used, solfeggio frequencies are used to open the chakras to promote and bring about physical, mental and emotional health and well-being.

All the primary solfeggio frequencies are in sequence of 3, 6, and 9. Nikola Tesla very famously said, “If you only knew the magnificence of the 3, 6, and 9, then you would hold a key to the universe”. Many believe that these frequencies were deliberately brushed off and locked away from public eyes because of the power that they hold. If people knew the positive effects and learned to use them effectively, they could use them to balance and heal themselves. Below is a list of the frequencies and what they are used for. I’ve included a couple of extras that are not primary frequencies but are also used for specific reasons.

40 Hertz is not a primary solfeggio frequency, but it has started to being used in therapies for the treatment of Alzheimer’s to stimulate an increased neural response to help with dementia. This is in its early stages of study.

 *174 Hertz It is one of the primary solfeggio frequencies and is used a lot in sacred music due to its positive effect on ones health. It can relieve pain, stress and help with concentration. This frequency is also noted as a natural anesthetic, relieving pain both physically and energetically.

*285 Hertz frequency is also one of the primary solfeggio frequencies. It helps to treat minor injuries such as cuts, burns, and other wounds in the body. This frequency evokes cellular repair by helping the body’s tissue and organs to regenerate. This cellular repair is innately linked to the immune system, where the health of B and T cells is vitally important for fighting off viruses and disease. The effect is better immunity and higher energy levels.

*396 Hertz is used for those who may be suffering a loss and helps in the transformation of grief and other negative emotions. This frequency also aids in the removal of feelings of fear, shame or guilt making it effective in spiritual music. 396 Hz balances the root chakra and can assist in transforming negative emotions into positive ones. It is one of the primary solfeggio frequencies.

*417 Hertz, also one of the primary solfeggio frequencies. This frequency focuses on the removal of negative energies from the body, home etc. It dissolves emotional blockages and activates the sacral chakra.

432 Hertz is not considered a primary solfeggio frequency but is associated with the heart chakra and can lead to greater levels of emotional and mental clarity.

440 Hertz is not considered a primary frequency but is considered “cerebral music” and is associated with cognitive development. It is considered one of the frequencies that open the third eye chakra.

*528 Hertz is a powerful frequency. One of the most well-known solfeggio frequencies. This frequency is associated with developing higher states of consciousness, activating intuition, intention and imagination and awakening spirituality. Commonly used in indigenous cultures for the many blessings it provides. It is known as the “love frequency” or “miracle note” and can have a profound effect on overall wellbeing.

*639 Hertz, one of the primary solfeggio frequencies, is associated with the heart chakra. This frequency produces positive feelings and promotes connection and more harmonious relationships.  It encourages clear communication and repair of challenging relationships.

*741 Hertz, also a primary frequency it is linked to problem solving and intuition. It can help provide mental clarity and help with chronic pain.

*852 Hertz is associated with redirecting negative thought patterns, over thinking and intrusive thoughts and can alleviate depression and anxiety. It helps to connect you to the universe and your higher self on a deeper level. This frequency is also a primary solfeggio frequency.

*963 Hertz is the highest of the primary solfeggio frequencies, known as the “Frequency of the Gods” or “pure miracle tone”. 963 Hz activates the third eye or pineal gland and is associated with higher spiritual connections. It is also connected to the crown chakra which is the direct connection with God/ Creator Source.
